No account needed to try it: 3 solves a day, 1 from a photo, up to 30 a month. Paid plans allow up to 30 solves a day. Monthly allowances reset on the first day of each month (UTC). Cached answers do not use your allowance. Free access is subject to availability; unusually long or repeated attempts can reach a processing limit before the count limit. Payments are processed securely by Stripe and PayPal. Cancel anytime in Billing.

Prices and upgrade estimates are in USD. Stripe may offer local-currency payment with a conversion fee. PayPal conversion depends on your account and payment method. Check the currency and amount before confirming.

Understanding MathSolver pricing

When free MathSolver access is enough

Start with free access if you want to try the explanation style or check a few practice problems. You can use the solver without an account. Creating a free account raises the daily allowance and adds recent solve history. The table above shows the current quantities, including the separate photo allowance. You do not need a paid subscription to read the calculator examples.

Usage is shared across the general solver, subject pages and AI calculators. Opening another calculator does not reset your daily or monthly allowance. Choose the tool that matches your question, include units for science problems, and check a photo transcription before submitting it. A clear problem is useful on every plan; a larger allowance does not remove the need to verify an AI answer.

Choosing between MathSolver Plus and Pro

Plus is intended for more frequent practice, with a monthly standard solve allowance, photos, PDF worksheets and full solve history. It can make sense when the free allowance regularly interrupts your study or you need to work from a PDF. Review the fair-use policy below before choosing it: monthly quantities, the daily ceiling and the processing limit all apply to normal use.

Pro includes the Plus features and adds deep reasoning with a stronger model for harder questions. Choose it for the reasoning feature rather than assuming every routine exercise needs the highest plan. Neither plan guarantees that an answer is correct. Compare the explanations with your own work, check restrictions and use a trusted reference for important results.

Comparing monthly and yearly MathSolver pricing

Use the billing-period switch to see the actual monthly price or annual total. The monthly equivalent shown for a yearly plan is a comparison figure; it is not a separate monthly charge. The yearly FAQ compares one annual payment with twelve monthly payments at the current launch prices. Choose the period that suits how long you expect to use the service.

Before checkout, review the selected plan, billing period and any trial shown. The payment options and renewal or cancellation details matter as much as the headline discount. After subscribing, the Billing page is where you manage the subscription. The FAQ below explains cancellation, refund terms and payment methods; contact support if a billing detail is unclear.

Before choosing a plan, try the free math solver or browse the calculator directory to see examples and the kind of steps MathSolver explains.

MathSolver pricing questions

Can I use MathSolver for free?

Yes. Guests get 3 solves a day, up to 30 standard solves a month. A verified Free account with a non-temporary email gets 5 solves a day, up to 100 a month, including 2 photos a day. School and company emails are welcome. Free AI access depends on the shared allowance; available cached answers do not use it.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and more), Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or with your PayPal account. Prices are in US dollars.

What does fair use mean?

Plus includes 300 standard solves a month. Pro includes 400 standard solves and 30 deep reasoning solves a month. Both allow up to 30 total solves a day, with photos and PDF pages included. Allowances reset on the first day of each month (UTC), regardless of your billing interval. Cached answers do not use your allowance, and failed attempts return the solve count. To control unusually long or repeated attempts, a separate processing limit can pause new requests before the count limit. Free access also depends on the shared free service being available. A free trial has a smaller total allowance shown in Billing.

Will the launch price go up?

The launch price is for our first subscribers. If you subscribe at the launch price, you keep it for as long as your subscription stays active.

Why is the yearly plan cheaper?

Paying for a year up front costs less: Plus is $59.99 a year instead of $119.88 for twelve monthly payments, and Pro is $95.99 instead of $239.88.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel from Billing at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If MathSolver is not right for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a plan and we refund it in full. Use “Request a refund” in Billing or the contact page. A refund ends the plan right away. Renewals after that are not refunded unless the law requires it.

Does MathSolver pricing cover the calculator pages?

Yes. Your MathSolver plan applies across the general solver, mathematics, physics, chemistry and every AI calculator. You do not buy a separate subscription for each subject. Successful standard and deep submissions share the daily limit and use their respective monthly allowances. Changing the tool, subject or language does not reset those allowances. Reading examples, revealing saved hints and copying an answer use no solves. Choose the calculator that matches your task; compare the plan table if you need a larger allowance, PDF input or deep reasoning.

Does MathSolver pricing include photo and PDF problems?

Photo input is available when trying the service: guest access includes 1 photo problem per day, and a free account includes 2 per day within its solve allowance. Plus and Pro provide the larger allowances shown above and add PDF worksheets. A photo or document still needs a clear question; inspect the recognized text before solving and correct a misread symbol. If an eligible trial is displayed for your chosen plan, review its billing details before starting. A trial is not the same as permanent free access to the paid features.

How does yearly MathSolver pricing work?

Yearly MathSolver pricing shows one annual total, with an equivalent monthly figure to make comparison easier. That equivalent is the annual price divided by twelve; it does not change the checkout into twelve monthly payments. Monthly billing is the separate option in the switch above. Compare the total for the period you expect to use, not just the smaller-looking monthly equivalent. Before confirming checkout, check the selected plan, the payment interval and any displayed trial. Use Billing to manage an existing subscription; the cancellation and refund questions explain the applicable product policy.

Does MathSolver pricing guarantee correct answers?

No. MathSolver pricing changes the available features and usage allowances; a paid plan does not guarantee a correct mathematical result. Pro adds deep reasoning for harder problems, while Plus already provides the larger practice allowance and PDF input. On any plan, compare the recognized question with the original, read the steps and check the answer. Substitute a root into an equation, multiply factors back out or differentiate an antiderivative where appropriate. Your course notes and a reliable reference remain useful when the result or an assumption is unclear.
